Tell us about yourself

I am a Senior Secretary and joined the firm in 1986.

What is your specialist area of law?

I currently work in the Probate Department as Secretary to Jennie Stevenson dealing with client enquiries via telephone and email, making appointments and keeping clients updated.

What do you offer clients of John Hodge Solicitors?

I always endeavour to offer a sympathetic ear to clients, advising them as to the progress made with their case, and assisting with any administrative issues. Jennie and I work together as a team and try to ensure that our clients have one point of contact within the firm.

What do you enjoy most about your role?

I enjoy being able to explain processes and legal advice to clients in a friendly down to earth way. Most of our clients appreciate an open and straightforward manner in which we deal with matters which may be very distressing for them.

Is there anything else you’d like to say?

I live locally in Weston-super-Mare and have a good knowledge of the local area. I enjoy playing skittles for a local team and spending time with my family.
