Tell us about yourself

I am a Solicitor in the Private Client Department. I qualified as a Solicitor in September 2019 and began working with John Hodge Solicitors in 2020. Prior to that I worked with a firm based in South Somerset.

I studied my Law Degree at the University of Exeter, my Legal Practice Couse at the University of Law (Exeter) and my Master’s Degree at the University of Law.

What is your specialist area of law?

I deal with all aspects of private client work including Wills, Estate Administration, Trusts, Tax Planning, Powers of Attorney and Court of Protection work.

What do you offer clients of John Hodge Solicitors?

When I am meeting with clients, it is often at difficult times in their lives, such as periods of bereavement. This is something that I understand and I aim to provide my clients with not only the best legal services possible, but also a considerate and compassionate service. I am passionate about using my skills to provide services in a friendly and effective manner.

I have a particular interest in digital assets and ensuring that clients effectively plan for these.

What do you enjoy most about your role?

I enjoy meeting with clients and being able to give them tailored advice based on their own personal circumstances. I find it very rewarding to be able to use my skills to help clients through difficult situations.

What do you think makes a good lawyer?

I think that a good lawyer not only has to have the relevant skills, but they need to be an effective and empathetic listener to ensure that they give the best service to each client.

A message for your clients:

“I always aim to be easy to approach and to offer my clients the best advice in a way that is easy to understand and best suited to their needs”.
